| Heroic sonnet |

By faith in it the corn will function be.
By hope to it the herb will play a role.
They both will satisfy, primarily,
the expectations of the common whole.
By faith in it the creep will function be.
By hope to it the stock will play a role.
They both react, of course, with enmity
against an expectation to be soul.

A fruit tree sweet will satisfy The Lord.
By love, by charity, it will avail.
As wild the animal will life afford.
By love, by charity, it will prevail.
Both hypocrite and fool by it abhorred
it will make clear what offerings entail.
It will. Redemption being its reward,
to be is vital. And it will not fail.

To keep oneself afloat can be a test.
So swimming with the tide is surely best.


| They say | the heroic sonnet differs from the scheme of fourteen lines as in other sonnets. A heroic sonnet consists of two octaves, that is stanzas of eight lines, and one distich, that is a stanza of two lines. The lines are iambic pentameters and the rhyme scheme is either
