Justice

| Mount count |

As the fining pot carrying silver,
and the furnace giving gold,
shall justice man deliver
as estimation cold.
When value is the goal.
The Lord, though, grabs your soul.

| I'd say |, in Norway, it has been quite common to write poems which are rhythmical but which are not metered. This poem is an example of this. In every line there are three (if not two) stressed syllables, so the lines are quite consistent with each other also speaking of length. But the lines are not metered. Even so the poem is melodious.

The poem is made up of one verse. But it can not be said to be a stanza. The number of lines, and the rhymes, are free for the poet to make.

The message in the poem is taken from Proverbs, 27:21, 17:3, in The Bible.
