Being home

| Rime coulée |

In every home there is a heart
which cannot be from it apart,
and that is you.
And you yourself are to The Lord
a home The good Lord will afford.
If you are true.

| They say | the rime coulée is made up of six lines, and the third and the sixth lines are short. The rhyme scheme is either
| aabaab | or | aabccb |.
The poem is syllabic, made up of any length. But the respective lines should be of equal length.

Forced to be metric, with four feet in the long lines and two feet in the short lines, in English I call the form “rhyme casting”. My poem is written in iamb.
